My goal as a BSR practitioner is to facilitate a process by which people can return to their natural state of good health and wellbeing as well as gaining an awareness of their own responsibility towards their health.

Hence the reminder to my clients: “give your body a chance!”

How I discovered BSR

In July 2013 following a long career in ballet, first as a dancer and then as a rehearsal director and ballet teacher, I started BSR sessions to address a severe lower back issue. At the end of the first appointment my back became very sensitive as a result of the healing process. However, because BSR addresses the whole body, a chronic issue with my shoulder, which was overshadowed by my back pain, cleared up and never came back! I needed no further proof that something remarkable was happening. My practitioner also made me aware that the layers of stress accumulated in my lower back during a long career in ballet were going to be part of a longer healing process.

She advised me to stop exercising for a while to allow the releases to do their work. Because of the physical nature of my job at the time as ballet teacher and coach, I felt the need to keep training for fear I would hurt myself without it. The result was that a year later my back was still going into spasms on a regular basis. When I finally realised that I was interfering with the process, I made a choice to give up my training and approach my work differently for a while. Not a month later I could feel my body responding much faster to the releases.

How I became a BSR practitioner

When I realised the effectiveness of Body Stress Release despite its gentle, non-invasive approach I decided to explore BSR from a practitioner's viewpoint. In 2014 I embarked on an extraordinary journey to learn this fascinating technique at the BSR academy in South Africa and emerged a certified practitioner.

My passion is to support people in their personal development. As a BSR practitioner I am brought one step further in the fulfilment of my passion, assisting people in upgrading the quality of their health and lives. I am delighted to have found a second career I am so eager about and look forward to sharing this beautiful technique with many.

I hope to see you in my practice soon!
